Murphy Men Bow Out of Playoffs

The Murphy Men bowed out of the AHSAA Playoffs after dropping their second round game to the Fairhope Pirates, sending the Pirates to the Final Four in Huntsville.  The Panthers are set up well to make another run at the Section Championship and the Final Four next year with only three seniors on this year's team.  It's never too late to start preparing for next year.  

Area Soccer Clubs will be holding tryouts for their 2010-2011 teams soon.  Those who are interested in advancing their soccer skills and knowledge of the game should consider trying out for one of those teams.

Murphy Men win Section 1 Championship!

Murphy will now play St. Paul's Episcopal School in their last non-Sectional game on April 20, 2010 at St. Pauls and then the Section 2 Runner-up, Foley High School, in the first round of the playoffs on April 27, 2010.  The winner will play the winner of the game pitting the Section 2 Winner, Fairhope, vs. the Section 1 Runner-up, Baker High School.
